Onima develops sustainable and healthy super-flours for the food & agriculture industry.

BACKGROUND
The first steps of Onima (ex-Yeasty) were taken within Genopole’s Shaker program and more specifically in the Food’InnLab incubator. Thanks to an initial fund-raising campaign in 2022, the company was able to accelerate its development and get its laboratories up and running durably at Genopole.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCTS / SERVICES / TECHNOLOGY

  • Product: inactivated and debittered brewer’s yeast for the production of super-flours. The company’s debittering process unlocks the potential of brewer’s yeast as a delicious and nutritional ingredient for meat substitutes, sports nutrition, confectionery & bread making and more.
  • Service (non-commercial) : Onima provides its prospects with accompaniment for the development of applications incorporating its ingredients. Its methodology is durable and adapted to new consumption lifestyles. Onima provides a revalorization solution that responds to brewers’ needs
