Nutropy develops gourmet French cheese alternatives that are more sustainable and better for our health and animal welfare.
Nutropy was born after encounters between the two founders who are motivated by the protection of the environment and animal welfare and who bring together expertises in the field of alternative proteins and the production of innovative proteins.
Nutropy is a French B2B company that develops next-generation cheese alternatives. We are developing an industrial alternative to non-animal plug&play milk replacement enabling our dairy partners to develop cheeses using our precision fermentation technology. We produce milk proteins and fatty acids identical to those of cows, for the development of new generation cheeses that are as tasty as conventional cheeses, and which are more sustainable, healthier and more respectful of the animals.
After having completed its POC at Genopole, Nutropy is developing its fermentation processes and is working in partnership with various research institutes. Nutropy is, for example, part of IBISBA’s Transnational Access (Horizon 2020 program of the EU), which gives subsidized access to the specialized industrial biotechnology research platforms.
Laboratories and research centers working on the production of proteins produced by fermentation or in the field of food science, cheese production or innovative food products specialists, partners for the scaling up of our protein production, etc.
