Field of Activity

Abcell-bio is a laboratory specializing in the isolation of human hematopoietic stem cells and primary cells derived from perinatal tissue and cord blood.

BACKGROUND
As a result of their research into cord blood stem cells the Abcell-bio team became expert in the isolation of cells and today the company offers a range of ready-to-use cells for research laboratories.
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS / SERVICES / TECHNOLOGY
Abcell-bio has developed expertise in 2 main areas:

  • Hematopoietic cells isolated from umbilical cord blood or peripheral blood (CD34+ progenitors, mononuclear cells from cord blood or peripheral blood)
  • Endothelial cells isolated from perinatal tissue (cord or umbilical cord blood (Endothelial Progenitors (EPC), endothelial cells from human umbilical cord vein or artery (HUVEC/HUAEC)) Abcell-bio also produces culture media adapted to these cells.

    INNOVATION ASSETS
    Abcell-bio has obtained CIR accreditation (Crédit d’Impôt Recherche – research tax credit) and has a research and development department within the laboratory dedicated to the development of new products and meeting customer requirements.
