Synovance is the result of more than a decade of academic research aimed at elucidating the fundamental mechanisms underlying epigenetic regulation in bacteria. Synovance has developed a revolutionary synthetic genomics platform for the conception of robust industrial bioproduction strains.

Description of the Products / Services / Technology
Synovance’s technologies enable the conception and construction of custom-tailored genomes giving bacteria the ability to produce chemicals and proteins from industrial waste biomass.
The first commercial application resulting from their technologies is an indigo blue textile dye used in the production of blue jeans.
