Innovative and Combination Therapies Conference #5 Therapeutic and Combination Innovations for Neuromuscular Diseases July 2, 2026 Innovative and Combination Therapies Conference #5 Therapeutic and Combination Innovations for Neuromuscular Diseases July 2, 2026

Genopole, l’Université Evry Paris-Saclay et le LBEPS (Laboratory of Exercise Biology for Performance and Health) invite you to the 5th edition of the Conference on Innovative and Combination Therapies.

Innovative therapies are a public health priority, addressing the urgent need to treat the wide spectrum of human diseases while accounting for the unique characteristics of affected populations.

Neuromuscular diseases exemplify this complexity, as they involve a diversity of affected tissues, causes, and ages of symptom onset—yet all impact motor function. Developing tailored treatments for each condition presents a scientific, technological, and economic challenge.

Advances in our understanding of these heterogeneous diseases are paving the way for promising approaches – pharmacological, cellular, genetic, and physiotherapeutic – whose combined or cross-disciplinary implementation could yield groundbreaking results.

This scientific symposium will review these advancements and explore the evolution of therapeutic strategies with experts from preclinical and clinical research, as well as biotech industry leaders. It will also address key questions about the potential and deployment of combination therapies.
