Genetic analysis of inherited traits and diseases for pet health.

BACKGROUND
The Felome project was launched in October 2022 as part of the Shaker program at Genopole where we developed our minimum viable product for cats. The company was founded in August 2023. We are laureates of the 3rd edition of Genopole’s Gene.iO Program.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS / SERVICES / TECHNOLOGY
Felome has developed a customized genetic analysis approach using next-generation DNA sequencing technology. Our first commercial kit will offer analysis of over 300 genetic markers for cats including inherited traits, risks for disease, filiation and proximity to breed groups with a simple, affordable and non-invasive approach.
